Every cup keeps a child in school.
A portion of proceeds from every bag of Kakone Coffee sold goes toward the education and sports development of children and youth in our coffee-growing communities — covering school fees, books, uniforms and learning materials, and support for sports programmes that keep young people active and engaged. Today, that support reaches 55 children directly.

Three legendary Ugandan growing regions.
Premium Robusta — Mubende. Grown in Kanseera, Mubende, in the basin of Lake Victoria, the heartland of Ugandan coffee. Full-bodied, with excellent crema stability and dark chocolate notes.
Rwenzori & Elgon Arabica. Mountain-grown on the slopes of Kasese in the Rwenzori region, where the Kakone family story began, and in the Elgon region near Mbale. High altitude and volcanic soils give a bright, complex acidity with floral and citrus notes.

Kakone Coffee has met with His Royal Highness Chief Muchinka of Chitambo, Zambia, to discuss expanding coffee farming into the area. Land has already been inspected, with more to follow once soil testing is complete.
